Anti-Inflammatory Meal for Chiropractic Care
Introduction

Healthy eating does not need to be complicated. One of the simplest ways to improve overall health is by consistently consuming meals rich in protein, healthy fats, micronutrients, and fiber.

This salmon power bowl is one of my favorite meals because it is filling, nutrient dense, and supportive of recovery.

Health Benefits

Wild salmon contains omega-3 fatty acids which research has shown may help reduce inflammation and support cardiovascular, neurological, and joint health. Inflammation can contribute to pain, stiffness, fatigue, and slower recovery.

Many patients dealing with neck pain, headaches, or back pain are also dealing with chronic stress and systemic inflammation, making nutrition an important piece of the conversation.

Research Quotes

“Omega-3 fatty acids demonstrate anti-inflammatory properties through multiple biological pathways.”

“Fish oil supplementation has been associated with reductions in joint pain and stiffness.”

“Higher dietary omega-3 intake is associated with improved cardiovascular outcomes.”

Ingredients

– 1 wild salmon filet
– 1 cup jasmine rice
– 1 cup roasted sweet potatoes
– 1/2 avocado
– 1 cup spinach
– Olive oil
– Sea salt and black pepper
– Lemon juice

Instructions

1. Season salmon with sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Bake salmon at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Wrap Up

At our clinics we emphasize that movement, nutrition, recovery, and chiropractic care all work together. Small consistent decisions often create the biggest long-term health outcomes.
