Reduce Inflammation to Stop Pain!

shared by Dr. Anthony Vasile

Some inflammation can be good;

Inflammation is usually seen as a negative in today’s “health” perspective.  Certain types of intermittent inflammation when following an infection or injury are positive ways the body can react when attempting to heal.  Allowing inflammation to become chronic or habitual is what results in major health problems. Recent research has shown certain social, environmental and lifestyle factors can promote systemic inflammation. Systemic (chronic) inflammation leads to several diseases which are today’s leading causes of disability and mortality worldwide. These leading causes of death are cancer, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s.  The risk factors that all people must be aware of to prevent susceptibility to these diseases are proper physical inactivity, proper diet choices,  avoiding environmental and industrial toxins, and managing psychological stress.

Don’t choose Chronic Inflammation;

Chronic inflammatory diseases have been recognized as the most significant causes of death in the world.  More than 50% of all deaths are attributed to inflammation related diseases. There is strong evidence showing the risk of developing chronic inflammation can often be traced back to childhood development. The habits we learned as children from the people who raised us and the people who influenced us have long lasting impact. These habits and effects are often seen to persist throughout our life ‘s choices and can affect our risk of developing chronic disease which will lead to an early death. (Food choices, exercise choices, stress responses)

3 things to remember;

Here at Texas Chiro Health, we strive to educate our patients on the 3 factors of health; the way we eat, the way we move, and the way we manage our stress. Not managing these 3 elements of health will result in chronic inflammation within the body. It is imperative that every human build a lifestyle that helps  prevent chronic inflammation and start trying to live a balanced lifestyle.  Give today’s recipe  a try and enjoy the wonderful aroma along with anti-inflammatory benefits.
