Of course, we want all of our green drinks to taste good, but it is most important that we are utilizing these drinks to give us a shortcut to getting our fruits and vegetables. By adding cherry and banana, you will make the drink much sweeter, and you also get the added benefit of vitamin C, potassium, and other antioxidants. The vitamins and minerals in this green drink help our bodies fight inflammation which is the main cause of most people’s pain.
Vitamin C is crucial for promoting proper tissue healing, as well as fighting off free radicals in our body that can do damage to our cells and interrupt the healing process. Below are a couple findings in the research that support our body’s need for vitamin C, and why you should be utilizing these green drinks to make it as easy as possible to fight inflammation.
