Dr. Anthony’s Green Drink with Chlorella

Green is my favorite color. So, making green smoothies is not only pleasant to look at but it also makes me happy and healthy. One ingredient that I love to use that gives an amazing deep rich green color is something called Chlorella. It is one of the most nutrient dense foods available. Some have even called it “Nature’s Perfect Food”. It is highly digestible and is a great source of plant protein. It is loaded with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants and much more.

Another interesting quality of chlorella is that it is a chelator. This simply means that it is good at binding with heavy metals. Chlorella has the unique ability to bind with other heavy metals that may be in food that you are eating and allows it then to be passed through your system without you absorbing those heavy metals. I actually take chlorella tablets with me when I go eat sushi so it will bind to the heavy metals in the fish that I am consuming. Chlorella also has the ability to help remove heavy metals that have already accumulated in your body in places like the liver, bowel, kidney, and brain. I attached a research study that shows its effectiveness in removing heavy metals in people that have had long term amalgam fillings in their teeth.

One thing to remember if you are considering giving it a try in your smoothies is where it was produced. A lot of companies take shortcuts and chlorella has been shown to contain heavy metals, pesticides, glyphosate, and many other harmful toxins. That is why I take great pride in doing the research to source out the best, cleanest products on the market. I highly recommend the health ranger stores clean chlorella SL. The SL stands for sunlight. Many chlorella companies grow the chlorella under artificial light. I always prefer something grown in natural sunlight compared to artificial light. You can add this to many different green drinks, but this is one that I wanted to share.
