According to a study published in the journal Nutrients, magnesium plays a crucial role in decreasing the risk of chronic diseases and improving muscle function. Incorporating magnesium-rich foods like spinach into your diet through green smoothies can help support overall wellness and recovery. Try this recipe today for a tasty way to boost your nutrient intake!

When it comes to how we approach back pain, our East Dallas clinics always address the foods and nutrients that our patients consume for this exact reason.  We need to ensure the body has the ability to heal from the inside out, because this is important for not only getting rid of back pain but staying out of pain.  Give the recipe below a try and let us know how it is!

All organic & frozen

  • 1 cup frozen spinach or kale
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 to 2 cups peeled and frozen orange segments, or frozen pineapple or mango chunks
  • ½ teaspoon chia seeds, optional
  • 1 cup almond mile, plus more as needed to blend
  • Handful of ice

Blend until smooth and enjoy!
