Setting Goals to Live Without Pain

Setting Goals to Live Without Pain

Pain can be impactful on our social behavior. It impacts us at work and at times can distract us from our personal and health goals. Chiropractic focuses on health goals by establishing a prognosis and educating people on how to live a healthy life without pain. What we know is if we can change the lifestyle habits that caused the pain, we can accomplish long lasting results. Goals give us a sense of accomplishment and can direct us in our own path of individual success. Setting goals can also help with mental health and physical health. Here is a quote from the research article on goal setting and recovery.

“It is well established that when a person achieves a goal it is associated with better recovery… Achieving a goal was associated with a higher level of recovery compared with having not achieved a goal. This is in contrast to the overall recovery scores which showed a strong effect of regression to the mean over time for the people in the service. Focusing on helping the service users to achieve a goal, this study strongly suggests, is a reliable way to ensure that any person being supported by the service will have the best opportunity to have better results wherever they are on their recovery journey. “

I attached an article on how goal setting can help you with your health and pain:
