Vitamin C to Lower Inflammation

Vitamin C is a great vitamin that helps improve immune system, help with hormonal regulation, and increase collagen synthesis. Vitamin C has also been shown to help you fight back against sickness that you are dealing with. In a study by Kumari et al. They wanted to see the effectiveness of intravenous vitamin C and standard therapy in patients with COVID-19 vs standard therapy for COVID-19. They found that in the patients who received Vitamin C in their therapy on average became symptom free 2.1 days earlier vs the group without Vitamin C. They also found that on average patients spent 2.2 fewer days in the hospital. Vitamin C is something we must get in our body to support its natural immune system and an easy way to get that extra boost is with a green smoothie.
